Hi sikyne,

am also planning to build a hub type dyno just like the dynapack style, i have lot of thoughts in mind, am a computer programmer, and currently am putting the first steps of the Data acquisition that i will be using along with my own used software that will be based on C++ with visual libraries, i have mostly all sensors and controls taken into consideration, AFR, MAP, EGT, Temp/humedity with correction, RPM pickups, PWM controller, and torque sensing, also i got more advanced sensors to work with, like oil pressure for gear box and engine, fuel flow, and air flow rates for turbo and supercharged cars, and coolant pressure with temp.

i don't know if you mind exchanging ideas about this hub dyno, to come-up with one advanced unit.

great work, not many people would go this far with all this. I see ddatsun club dyno day and cruise happening to test it out ;)

Great idea!
Bit of a BBQ lunch to go with it, sounds good.

Being a hub type dyno, Might be a little slow changing cars over as it is more of a development tool than a dyno day dyno.
Im trying to have it done before Xmas but might be into Jan before we could have a dyno day.

Things are progressing well with the dyno. Should be ready for some basic load testing before the newyear.

Ive picked up a great dyno fan, but the motor is a bit small. Does anyone have a large (10HP +) electric motor lying around???

If you have it up and running after Jan 5 I'd be keen to drop up and have a look at it, your car and talk to you about economical ways to blast paint and rust of the boy's 'rana.
