The one at my work has large machinery, a wire drawing machine inside

Simillar to what the one i have was used for. It was in a large factory, and had a few grinders and linishers in it. I wouldnt like to buy one new! Big $$$ i`d guess.

Very impressive.

Started making this engine test adaptor last week. It will make it a lot easier to try different turbo's, cams etc.

Still a bit to do, but these pics will give you an idea of how it works.

Nice work! Just add a throttle actuator and a control algorithm and you can automate engine break in as well!

I'm using an Arduino board for electronic throttle control. But will just be a manual trim pot for starters.

Arduino's are great, so easy to use and so much code available to hack. I use them at work for my test jigs. C# (Microsoft Visual Studio) is also fairly easy to use once you've done a bit of programming, I built a windows program to run one of my jigs with it. My best advise is add lots of comments to your code so it makes sense later on when you've forgotten all about it.

A little more progress on the engine test frame.

I didn't even think about it when I used the A series auto bellhousing for the engine adaptor, but a friend reminded me that I can now bolt any engine to it that had the Jatco as an option. engines such as L series, RB's, Rotary's etc.
I just need to collect a few of bellhousings and make a more universal drive plate. Bit of an unintentional win, but ill take it!
