Hey Mik, I'm still looking for an L series auto bell housing. I'll also need an old flywheel to machine down for a drive plate.
All of the frame is now finished. Just a bit to go on the fuel and cooling systems. I have a few tunes booked in over the next week. It will be at least two weeks before I can even get an A series engine on it to test for issues. I googled the Tatra 11 chassis D, Interesting design. but a little hard to work on from reports. This is bit the same too. I had to make the center bearing mount fit inside the torque tube. It also has to be adjustable as the engine coupling doesn't have a slip yolk.

Crumb might have a spare auto bell if he can spare one, I've only got a 4 speed box spare here. Got a fly but do you need a good one or crap one? Cause l20 are 6 bolt l16/18 are 5 bolt to crank

Crumb and I have a couple of autos, sure we can donate a bellhousing to the cause.
How soon do you need it

Fill us in on the super sexy paint as I only been aware of Blackcoate and whitecoate as all in one chassis paint but its not UV proof and almost as hard as chrome finish.
Actually reminds me of your racing coupe :)

Its a product made by Valspar(Netherlands). Its 80% Binders and uses concentrated tinters. It covers very well and only two coats are recommended. 10 mins between coats at 25degC. 10 hours dry time(workable) at 25C, but it takes days to get to its full hardness.
I bought it from the local auto paint place. 5:1 ratio with hardener and 10 to 20% reducers(fast). The recommended surface preparation is to Blast it. I used an 80 grit steel blasting media. It cost about $48 for one Ltr. But you will also need the hardener and reducer.

Thanks LZ and Mik, I'm certainly not in a hurry for an L series bell housing and flywheel/s (5+6 bolt). Its only if I need to test/tune an L series down the track. I have plenty of A series stuff to play with. I want to finish the single injector turbo setup first.
It would be great if you have something to donate or barter!

I had a chat to Ben (crumb) and he has a L bell housing already off the jatco so I am sure we can bring it to the Mordy BBQ if you want.
