Hey everyone!
Ive got a 1971 Datsun 1200 project car that I need to move to clear out some space.
The car does not run and does not come with an engine or tranny. But, it wouldnt take much to get her back on the road again.
The car is still setup for a stock "A" series engine but does come with a crossmember that will allow you to run a CA18det. It should also work with a KA or an SR if you would like to run something else.
The car is complete minus engine, tranny, bumpers, and interior. The only interior in the car is a quick disconnect and a steering wheel. I can throw in some b210 seats if you like tho. All of the exterior trim is there. It is removed in the pics for painting. We put a fresh coat of flat black on the car. The old paint was pretty rough. Exterior wise, the car is in pretty good shape. It only has one rust spot. Very small under the passenger door. Easily fixable. The car also already has Fender flares installed.
Mechanically the car is pretty solid. No rust or bent frame pieces. Everything is clean and ready to use. The brake system does need to be replaced. I was in the process of running new hard lines but never got around to it because I couldnt decide what I was going to do with the suspension. You can run 280zx front struts on these cars and get upgraded brakes and struts at the same time. I was planning on doing something similar. You can also run Camaro shocks in the rear to get better valving. I run both the 280zx struts and the camaro shocks on my b210 and it works great. Just thought I would mention that in case you were wondering how to upgrade the suspension haha.
The car is super light. You can pick the back of the car off the ground by yourself.
I was building this car for the track but I have gotten another project and dont have room for both. It is just sitting in the driveway waiting for a new owner. The price is less than what I paid for the car but I just need the space so no big deal. The car does have a clean title and is ready for sale.
I also have a dissasembled ca18det swap.. it is actually two engines and a transmission.. that will go with the car for an extra 600. For anyone that is intereseted. I have another listing on clist for it if you want to check it out.
Anyway, thanks for checking my listing out. Give me a call or text if you are interested. Just ask for Aaren. price is 600
