Unfortunately AVG could not detect of fix my problem and as I needed to get a decent antivirus program and along came Norton for FREE... Well it fixed the problem and as I am aware that while Norton certainly had it's problems in the past it certainly seems to have it together for now. Better to have some ordinary protection than none. Like having a root with a chick (or in Mik's case a bloke) wearing a franger filled with pin holes!

Personally i use and recommend ZoneAlarm security centre for $50 a year it does a great job. For freebies try clamwin antivirus, or the mentioned AVG. Also there is a great freebie spyware programme called Super Antispyware.
