O.k but the only thing in my measurements is that a TRX series 2 5 speed bellhousing (got one here) will put the box back where i started as its a longer bell housing. Just pulled a tailshaft out of the bluebird SR20 it says on it 120y Auto but must be H150 as its got a different end on it (diff end)There same tail shaft diff end as H165 ay ?

63a dogleg 5spd with H165 ute diff, stanza tailshaft had to be cut down when I moved the engine back 3-5mm from firewall and new sump.

Brown car stanza 4spd with H145, standard 1200 auto tailshaft.

Yeah they should all work in the right combo as long as the engine isn't too far back.

I had a BW with BW 1200 auto tailshaft in before the H165 ute diff went in there.

The H145 centre has been fine, although I didn't really do a stand stills or hard launches on it only a few ringys and stuff. the cars sat doing nothing at the moment so I can do any damage to it.

yeah i have worked on that info in sourcing all my parts too.

the length should be the same in all the combos as the gear box in aseries is in same spot and so is the diff, so if you use h145 h150 or bw, the total lenght should be same.

onlt one different is h165 but you siad would work with h150 shaft.

weird.

You'll have to shorten the H150 shaft though as the H165 centre is longer.
