So its about ready to get back onto the dyno now and see how far past the 200kw mark it will go with 98 octane. In the mean time im getting all new fuel lines with -6 AN fittings all round to ensure there is no shortage of fuel

Yeah i'm getting to the point where spending money on things that don't really make the car any more functional isn't so much of an issue. And yeah being one colour makes the car so much better to look at

So what filter u end up running nick? That's my thought ATM with mine as I'm only running universal filter and the 255 pump and about to get tuned

Currently just running a z200 filter. Going to run a Z373 falcon filter with AN adaptors

So far the new walbro is doing its job. Seems to pump fuel

reason for asking about the fuel pump is that my friend bought a 400lph (genuine?) walbro off ebay for his 180sx and it couldn't even hold base pressure above 4000 rpm with 550cc injectors. Was probably just a bad one from the factory, but got me a little concerned about them.

Stupid question, but did he replace the filter? Because that will stop it supplying the correct pressure pretty quick.

I got mine from Injectors Online for just over $200 delivered. seems to do the job, but also wouldn't supply enough fuel at high revs with the old fuel filter

Any progress on rear end yet piggy. I like the way this is going further now too.

yep first thing we did was replace the filter. Still lean on the wide band so rewired the pump with twin soldered earths (also checked voltage under load 13.6v), put in a adjustable fpr and gauge and checked all of the fuel lines. So after all of that we put back in the old 255 and good pressure? He did buy it off ebay and cost around $150 so I did question if it was genuine or not. I guess not. Either way I will be buying one from a reputable seller this week as I feel the need for a little more boost. Also looked up the z373 falcon filter and it looks exactly like what I need to use, thanks for that :)

Now back to your awesome build I'm sorry to drag your thread off topic.

Try the e85 and you will be able to crank up the timing safely, easy crack the 200kw mark
