I found it easiest to adjust the settings on my camera before even taking the picture. Other wise Vista has cropping and resizing options in the photo veiwer, and xp (if it doesn't have the same options) you can use mspaint and adjust the size through there.

no size restrictions that I've encountered using my 8mpix digicam

There is an easier way but this works for me
1) Take pic
2) Upload pic on web server like photobucket ( I use photobucket and this method may only work for that site)
3) Look at pic on photobucket, on left hand side of page is a list of different URL links to the pic u just uploaded.
4) Copy IMG location from photobucket and paste in your message on here.
5) Change all capital [IMG] code to lowercase [img]

JOB DONE

8 M pix is too large. For this site, 200k (about 4 M pix) is the limit. Photobucket resizes the photos when you upload them so it works out. But there are other ways.
