Had a run at the haunted hill hillclimb track again

got a good photo of a wheel up

it was just a come and try day, me and my brother were driving my car and we got over 25 runs each before leaving early at 2pm becuase we had had enough.... was awesome for track time and not having to wait around

Did fixing that kinked line also stop the oil breather issue?

I havent updated this for a while

finished the r31 skyline brake conversion

raced it at DATNATS at easter, got a best of 2.12 at phillip island

also did a dyno day last weekend, found i had a boost issue - only running 6psi and not revving past 4500rpm - achieved 85rwkw

i fixed it this week and put in adjustable boost, now running 11psi and revving a lot more freely, power up to 6000rpm - hopefully over 120rwkw now, would love to retest it

I have a mate with a shop I can do wheelies at if you want as I'm a qualified wheel aligner or a mate at pedders that does race cars on Saturday that can help out

Hmm fair enough, i suppose the roadworthy issues of adjustables could be a problem with the law... And i must agree trying to find someone that can do a decent wheel alignment is hard enough without more complications...

Brackets look good, i picked some r31 calipers and brackets up the other day for the coupe. Need some new discs and fit them up, should be very nice. Ill have to keep in mind the bleed nipple fowling.

found a photo of the r31 rear brake mounting plates i modifieed - re-drilled and bearing retainers welded in. The redrill is not a task for the backyarder, this needs a mill and good engineering mind to be done properly/safely

mainly the price of a PROPER wheel alignment, like we have to get on the rally car

and not necessary on a road car (potential road worthy issues etc)

What puts you off about adjustable LCAs? I'm curious....

I would be staying well away from the gastro, not fun any time...

i'm not keen on running adjustable if i don't need them, so they are last resort

oh yeah... the rally car i can't research that at night and my bro has gastro so i'm not going near him
