Maiden voyage done today

It runs! runs well!, was dark and wet so didnt do too much driving

will put the interior back together tomoz night and take it for a real drive (first stop being the servo to get fuel thats not eight months old)

will get some photos happening for everyone to looksie too

cant wait to see my paint job in sun shine again! and the cruise is 7 days away.... so no problems getting it to that

great stuff mic- long time coming and worth it- most new dattos lol...
same cars new beginings for them i say ange. but need pics, then get onto engineer for final inspection so its all legit and the real build can progress ;)

bought my first 1200 10 years ago and wanted to put a cadet in one since then.... finally done it

though i have had a milion different engine combos in 1200 since ten years ago

Top job Mic very quick conversion really.
This is the most new Datsuns for sure and if not
new in ownership definitely with totally new hearts.

Glad for you Michael, but a little jealous!

I spent the weekend trying to bend up new brake lines...now just gotta hope my double flares seal up ok.


Look forward to seeing a couple of shots of the finished engine bay. Oh and some video on utube would be good...since I unfortunately have to work on the day of the cruise.
