well i have the pics of the final paint complete...

but first what happened on tuesday night when we applied the pearl

we painted the pearl over the orange, we were told by the paint place that the pearl was in a binder and didnt need to be put in clear... unfortunately we followed that advice and above is what happened

now what it looks like after we sanded off the pearl, re-applied orange coat, then mixed the pearl into clear, and finally four coats of just clear

we havent cut it back yet so this is the result straight out of the gun so far

colour is a custom orange (basically as bright as possible) with a light gold pearl over the top which features a blue on the flop

shame you missed the wheels while the paint gun was out lol

looks good mic, does your mate do other peoples cars too? mine hasnt weathered too good sadly

All right, finally had a look & she looks pretty sharp! Take some high res pic's out in natural light & post them, I'd love to get a good look at the orange.

The VW orange I'm going to use is a cool tone so it wont have that blinding effect, but its a pretty bright color still.

Good job, looks great!
