G'day Don,

I would like one but that'd mean I'd have to get of my distributor! It does look good though. Hall yeah!

What size tyres are you running mate? Great to see some tasty styling on the 1000 :)

LAGs this is awesome, well done. Hey you know how Don made that piece for you? Are you guys related? Both being a Davidson and all?

Top work mate. Love this photo, that feature line is so sharp and crisp. At first glance it looked two tone with a light shade of Grey on the bottom (below that line along the side) looks kinda cool if you can picture it like that.

riiiight...

ssskiwi, yeah i read the same thing and so used vaseline rather than grease. i'm just glad its up and running, can;t wait to rev it out once run in, this low revs ain't much fun although it does have plenty of useable low down power.

will be interested to see what it makes on the dyno - remembering it is a stock a15 bottom end stock head just all fresh. it has got the three c's tho. comp (shaved head) cam (good big street cam) and carbs (quad efi tb's with big mappable sprark) and some headers and an exhuast.

Pack the pump with grease to get things started, sometimes they're a little hard to get going.

I was always told not to use grease as it doesn't break down in the oil once running, we always used Vaseline to pack oil pumps for priming?

Also make sure the pick up isn't pressing against the bottom of the sump, found that out after the bash plate didn't quite do the job it was sposed to and the sump was made a little shallower than standard..

Anyway, glad to hear it's up and running..
