well as my luck would have it, the ca is in now. just need to mount up the gearbox cross member... took a but of muckin around to get the ca in... dropped it in with noteven one hit with the hammer on the tunnel :) maybe i am just patient :)

well all is good, gunna mount up the crossmember tomorrow... chuck the tailshaft in... and then mount the alternator, throw the rad support with intercooler and rad in place. mount up thermo fans and wire them up :) then go drink beer :)

Sounds good bailz

Had a look at Pintarra. It uses a 2 piece tail shaft, which is only about 50 mm in diameter. Did not pull it out of the box to see what yoke it had on it, but in my opinion you would be better with a 180B or Stanza tailshaft.

If you could confirm if it fitted you could get one this car for $20 I reckon. He was a reasonable guy. But I did not want to dump any more oil on his drive than I had to.

hey bailz,

how did you put the ca in without smashing the tunnel out?, did you put the motor and gearbox as one ? what crossmember are you using?
reason i ask this is i am going through this process rite now
