can you please find out if they use acrylic paint for the tyres?
Im pretty sure thats what they use as I want to touch up mine and not pay 100 bucks every few months.

The guy is coming around sometime at the end of this week people, $80 to do all four wheels. Let me know if you are interested and I'll give him a heads up.

Not just the cops, but tyre guys can be hopeless too... I had a guy at Bridgestone tell me that the tyres on my BMW were not legal and were only used on 'small' cars like corrollas. He flatly refused to fit the tyres I wanted to my car, when my car weighs 1050kg, and the corollas he was talking about were new ones that weigh closer to 1250kg! My car also had almost identical power output at 105kW. Like has been pointed out, I don't see how carving a bit out on a tyre designed to fit a car up to 1300kg is going to be affected on a 700kg car!

Here are some pictures. I'm surprised there was so little interest. For $80.00 they're worth it.
