Hey Mik,
I'll get some pictures tomorrow. It is basically a big lever with a little arm on it. Simple and effective. Starting it up tomorrow. Desperately need fuel banjo's though! No longer running methanol fuel [long story] pump and regulator alone cost about $600 from O.G Speedshop!

So I canned the idea of methanol largely due to the impractical side of things [flushing, cleaning after each use] and decided to go pump fuel [avgas later].
Cranked it over and over trying to get ignition and finally decided that it was the jetting that was the issue along with spark plugs etc thank god we had people who could confirm our suspicions. Here is a photo of the jet size comparison between......pretty significant hey? ![]() Dan and I fired it up and she roared to life [literally]. There is huge overlap so she's very noisy and smokey while we get the timing sorted out. Hopefully we can find a nice flat where she burns reasonably and behaves. The motor is SO L U M P Y it sounds pretty amazing. Just trying to sort out the timing for a smoother run but it sounds like it'll be the brute that it is. ![]()

Got some major tuning issues to iron out but we got her going.
Still a jetting issue and timing issue, then there is fuel flow etc. It's kinda scary listening to such a raspy motor in the innocent little red B10.

Here is a video after first round of basic tuning. Mix screws, dizzy, idle etc.
She's gettin' there but there is still a pretty extensive line-up on the tuning list, so please understand that. Youtube Video It'll have to wait for a couple of months dammit! What do you fellas have to say??

Nah she's pretty rickity at the moment, we'll iron those hiccups out later.
Ha, not sure if it sounds like your A16....it's 25% smaller, nonetheless I'm looking forward to driving it, it used to see 9000rpm with the stock oil-pump....how nuts is that? I'll most probably have to change the camshaft. Big thanks to Dan & Des for all their help, Dan, I'll get those parts to you as soon as I arrive home. You can view topic.
