If I could afford it Id love an A10 with straight gas
a good small ball bearing turbo and 9000 rpm redline
with mildly ported h89 head and 77 mm pistons.
Then if not satisfied the a15 bottom end slides in,
re-tune and the dump pipe gets extra 2cm added.

A10 have flat tops standard dont they ?

Would make it soo much easyer to buy pistons for high comp and carbs :D

I cant wait to see a wild a10 at full throttle !
What carbs are planning onrunning ,just 40s or bike carbs ?

Yikes.

SFA has happened lately, been busy removing and swapping engines.

Starting fabrication over the next couple of weeks. Will get some decent pictures up by then.

Here is a video to the engine conversion into Stuarts B120 Blue Ute, it all went smoothly with no issues apart from a minor exhaust leak and a small paint (chip on the radiator support shelf) that Stuart is holding me responsible for

Take a look at the video and turn the volume up, engine sounds great and goes great.

Stu's build thread.

This sounds very exciting Chris, I would love to build an A10 monster. Surely you can achieve 10k rpm on a well built A10?
I cant wait to see the power output from this thing, I think quite a few people would be supprised!

thats a no brainer, efi turbo a14 fo sho! stock standard motor spend your money on the computer and a couple of manifolds. No machining costs or funny pistons just an easy 100+kw at the wheels with reliability fuel economy and manners.

why cant you drive it for so long, licence issues? looking very good!

go the a10 while you sort the a14 on a stand first.

BINGO.

Cheers for the input fellas.

That's exactly what I'm aiming for, I can't drive the car anymore so I'm going to build a nasty A10, I honestly set 10K rpm as my goal probably won't get near it but I'll try.

Here is the basic plan so far, I'll get into the detail once I get an idea of budget.

A10 Bottom End.
HV, HP Oil Pump.
Lightened, peened rods.
Flat top 77mm pistons, skirts machined down (depending on what pistons I get).
Lightened crank.
Crank/Main bearing cap girdle/brace.
Crank scraper.
Brand New 39mm Keihin CVK Slides (Kwaka 1100) with massive velocity stacks.
Perforated Flywheel.
Crank fire ignition, 4 pack coils.
H75/89 oval port head. Double sprung, minor porting.

etc etc

I can't drive the car at the moment so I have lots of time.

The A14 has started to get very expensive when looking at the costs of the computer and manifolding, will do this on the side once the A10 is underway.

Will have pics up soon.

Chris

A10 with 76mm bores, EFI and M45 or whatever SC is easier to setup.

100hp at the wheels, lovely revvs, economy and no one has done it.

If you want more, then you can transfer it all to the bigger a14
(or early a12 with a14 hybrid internals)

im going A10 with AMR500 and single SU should be enough pork.
