had to lift the centre line of the bootlid so two cuts had to be made either side.

I (previous owner) along with other 300zx owners never liked 300zx
lights on them in the first place let alone on a classic.
If you used 180b or 240k rear end with the full backing
Id be impressed but Im afraid its looking like some 80s
Yanky 80s trans-am wanabee.
Tinting them could look better especially if you can
add some kind of chrome trimming to go around it to break
up the eightyness of it and head back toward retro.
Obviously with the skills you are showing you can always
go back to original if you get sick of them.

I was thinking of taking some of the 180SX rear onto the 1200 - to celebrate the CA

(not a sigma) lol. yeah im not sure yet but i'll most likely paint the car then put black contact over it and see how it looks. looks better then it the photos......i think

looks a bit like a mini version of the Porsche 928 (not a Sigma!)




Good work. I would black out the panel between the tail lights so it's more like the original ZX, but up to you.
