Sounds like, from your description that the problem is with the sway bar links rather than the sway bar itself.... pics will tell the story.

have installed the sway bar and was installing the coilovers and the sway bar pop out from the LCA

so the sway bar has a bolt with a ball on the end thats ment to be in the knuckle thing thats bolted to the LCA

is this faulty ?
i can get pic's tonight :)
