Was going along behind a four wheel drive ute today It came to a stop and then just threw it in reverse and back straight back in to me. The woman had fold out tables on the back so no clear view in her rear view mirror the tow bar went straight through radiator support and into me radiator bent all support panel. Now im off the road again and have to go through the insurance process. Fun times will get better pics on digi camera.

That sucks mate! The amount of times people either merge ontop of you or just plain don't see you in a Datto still amazes me! I am abit more used to it as I ride motorcycles as well.

She had insurance right?

She admitted to her boss who showed up that she was in the wrong. It was a council vehicle so its all going through them. The bonnet is all twisted as is the whole support panel when you look down you can see the front rail is bent on drivers side below radiator.

Some people are #OOPS#ing retarted... shouldn't be let off their leash or allowed to cross a road let alone operate a vehicle.

was the l16 engenieered in there? could cause insurance issues if it wasnt and she might get off scott free(or the councils insurance company might).

Not #OOPS# stiring here andy, worked for a major modified car insurance company for over 3 years. Heaps of rubbish mods get through the claims process, and properly constructed modified cars that arent engenieered get screwed over.

Good luck, hope you got a couple of witnesses, but she did admit guilt and fault, but with only the boss as the witness could also cause issues.

At least you got the spare shell to reshell it all into colnel mustard!

Thanks for your comments fellas. The L series aint engineered yet unfamilia but my view is they wont be looking at engine numbers etc. There good blokes with a passion for old cars so that helps.
