i think the torquesteer might be comin from somthing elce but the worn out torque converter wouldnt help the problem . has i have a 13 sec mini and a few other fast FWD's down the drags and all had manageable torquesteer but i have had a brumbie n a colt with high ks and low servicing and they had killa torquesteer so i would think its wornout bush's or somthin to do with the front end .
so your gonna chicken out ?

I think I read somewhere that a nice big front sway bar is the thing for drags. That might only apply for rwd though. I'm not sure. Could be worth investigating though and yeah, i'd also look at all your suspension bushes and the like too. definitely wouldn't help

clearly Fast and Furious tells us 2 things 1. old american muscle cars are clearly the best type of car to use for high speed off road driving and 2. if you spin your car round quick enough you can actually go fast enough in reverse to keep up with and overtake traffic....this was also shown in 2 fast 2 furious thus making it true

why do you think no one has bolt in checker plate floors anymore....coz if you blow the welds on your intake the f uckers fall out

Maybe you could just lift off the throttle momentarily for each upshift so the clutch packs can grab and fully engage the next gear, then floor it a split second later, it should be enough to prevent slippage unless they are really stuffed.
