I've made the trip to Bathurst Speed Weekend twice bert. It is expensive, but its worth doing. Mountain Straight Hillclimb in particular is an amazing piece of road! I'd definitely recommend doing it at least once.

yeah its been a while mate.
the S13 is coming along slowly. I don't seem to have as much time for track these days. I've had it out at lakeside 3 times, but last time I had dramas witht he wastegate actuator. I don't have any concrete plans for next year. Probably just more Lakeside and maybe a run at QR - just to get a time. I dislike the place with a passion. I'll probably have another crack at Carnell too - this time on 4cylinders! Good to see the Sunny is up and running. When are you out next?

no worries paul, if you make it come and find me so we can catch up for a bit.
bert i understand where your coming from and i wanna move up there, 21 and 17 sprints, ill be lucky to have 8 and i have to travel 2.5-3 hours for both tracks!!! another thing that you definatly should condemplate is on the easter weekend next year the festival of sporting cars holds a 3 day event over the whole circuit which in regularity you can enter with a l2s licence, in circuit racing they do not allow provisional drivers to race here!! so its a great opportunity, with a nice casual atmosphere, awesome old cars, driving instructors, and full grids of about 40 cars on the track and for a bit over $600 i ended up doing 30 laps and every one of our groups runs were red flagged early and i missed the last make up session. it was quite good to see what the datto could really do and i ended up with a 2.59 lap so i was quite chuffed. simon long time no see lol, having 2 racecars definatly isnt a good thing esspecially when they both live in the shed!!! i think i will be hard pressed to make it in the gemini, im finishing the engine rebuild today, then have to run it in and dyno tune it all before the supersprint, could be hard to do. and im not exactly gonna chuck it for when a 30k car gives carrera cup porches a run for their money at oran park, the first and only time ive driven it!!! but it is just like driving a datto with 11inch slicks, same weight and 300rwhp, looks tuff too, even for a gemini but 6inch wide flairs do that!!! cheers kurt

Woody, you haven't bought Hack Burden's Gemini, have you?
It'd be a good buy if you have.
