Brilliant work on this build. Wish I had the time and skills to do a ground up resto. Maybe later when I'm set-up with a fine shed like this.
Look forward to the progress, should be one of the nicest 120s out there.

thanks SRB310 well get em cruising together soon, glad to hear all went well with engineer. Was it with Mr Potts?

SO SO So So SO so stoked i got this from Yapan, even got gauges and clock to get with it!! Plan is to run a discreet digital gauge or even some nice "stack' gauges
Definatley going to finish it off with a Monster tach. Not normally my cup of tea the monster tach but seen so many in Japan with them in it, itd be wrong not to keep the theme going

Yeah mate, it was Doug. Started it through another engineer but his charges started getting ridiculous, and to sound like my dad, I didn't like his attitude. Speaking of that, I think I met yours. Had a son who has similar licence plates to mine, SR build in a 120Y... Small world.
Will deinitely love to have a look at this when it's finished & on the road.

Are you planning on using a centre console? I have 2, was thinking of making one out of them but not sure if it will work.

Scott said I should use Doug aswell, a bit easier seeing as he knows Scotts work. Haha loved your dads comment, ive gone off many purchases down to peoples attitude. Working in retail does that to you! Was it at the barn you met mine? Sing out next time, theres always love for datsun owners ( discount love ) :)

I do have a centre console. and it fits perfect around gearstick sits a little away from heater box but when pulled forward retains side on curve to match heater side profile.
You maybe surprised to find how yours looks doing the same??

Yep saw him at mile end. He had a quick look at the Sunny, bit of nostalgia mentioned he worked at a few places and had some sunny models?!. My old man worked at ken eustice, oh for one of those stickers!
I did find Doug reasonable, and yeah knows & likes Scotts work which helps.

Will have a look an my console, but mine comes out a good few inches out past original spot. Think I'll have to adapt something..
Just had a look at a standard 120 interior, it has a lot more play compared to mine. But anyway, nice score on the dash- s**ts all over a stocker. Whatever you payed it was worth it.

Coming together now. Such a pity it has to be pulled back down for paint. Just leave it and roll it in primer ... that's my e-modders tip for today.
