i got a saas one from super cheap and because it was a solid type i was able to machine it down a heap and just extend the tapped holes for the steering wheel
worked a treat

ah ok thanks for letting me know, the ones i have seen have been hollow/webbed so it wasnt an option

edit: whoops computer auto logged me in as dattogal, 1200rallycar
