hey mate. i have a 1200 ute and it had 16's x 6.5 on it when i brought it. i am running 120y struts with standard discs. not sure on offset but they are a 5 spoke roh wheel. there are photos on my facebook page of the car if u wanna have a look. i think they look ok but to keep it looking low i would rather 15's. get a good balance of rim and stance. just my thoughts. my face book name is brendan knight from birkdale.

Hey remember these old cars came out with 4/5 inch rims, so anything over 6 inches is a waste.

even with 14x6 or 7's you still need to chop out the front of your gaurds and run more caster so you can still get to full lock..
I did say look Been there done that and learnt my lesson

I like the look of a 1200 ute sitting up off the grond. 17's would look good, but yes there are heaps of #OOPS# looking 17's

still have to cut the guards to fit 15s, unless you want to destroy your guards the first time you hit a bump whilst turning
and doubt that just the rim size would change the handling that much, weight and tire quality would be alot more important
that said, im not a fan of anything bigger than 15s....not that many cars seem to be able to pull it off. also maybe somehting to do with lots of 17s being gay looking rims anyway
