hey guys,
just wondering if i was to run some positive camber on my ute,
would it screw my wheel bearings up, or make them wear quicker?
or is my ute light enough to have no real effect on it
thanks guys

why pos camber? usually neg camber for better turn in. Its something more for racing than road cars, it wont affect your wheel bearings but will half the tyre life.

I think positive camber would make it look pretty wierd.

Unless I have my positive's and negative's the wrong way round.

The factory settings for almost all 1960s and 70s cars is positive camber.

From the Datsun 1200 service manual: 5' to 2°05'

would that be to allow for loading? 2-5 degrees is a lot.

yeh neg camber helps heaps. i get free semi's so i run heaps on the road but if you have adjustables just wind it on for the track then run zero on the road. your tyres will actually last longer with camber if you're pushing it

Yes:
* Your tires will last longer with camber
* But, cornering perf is better with negative camber
