Modding is not that easy over here. There is a 4dr with a CA18DET in germany, but its almost impossible to get it road legal. I'd like to get the most out of the suspension and do some minor motor mods, maybe twincarb and such. A dogleg 5-speed would be nice, too. But thinking of Shipping costs and the luck needed to find one...
@nzdatman: To enjoy tax benefits the car has to be older than 30 years, in good shape and quite stock or modified "contemporarily". There's a league of car-nazis called TÜV monitoring this historic condition.
It would be a nice story, if that nuremberg-dat was mine, but that time my 1200 was still in Switzerland, where it was delivered in 1972. It came to Hamburg 2008 and went down to Stuttgart last winter, where I got it a month ago to Munich.
