Hey Andy,theres most likely 40K in it if you include labour as well as the bits.About 4-450 man hours i reckon.

Few people i know keep accurate times on these projects,but thats a ball park figure going on personel race car construction experiance.

10-12K sounds about right but as you point out there are heaps of utes around with CA's engineered and ready to go.
I wish the seller all the best with the sale anyway.

Nah i just have an opinion of my own,Always been the black sheep. Utes are cool but there everywhere and overpriced. 1200 Sedans, Wagons, Coupes thats where its at for me.

call me controversial but i can't see $40,000 there. Also $12,000 is about going rate and even then they dont sell. Ute's aren't exactly rare especially with a CA in em, whats the most common 1200 on Auction sites ? Yes utes.
