The sandblast coupling should never come apart with a safety clip but I think one of the luggs may have been damaged

I know what you mean Levey.
Got blasted at 2.30, arrived Murdoch hospital 3.30 and saw a doctor at 6.00. I usually have my best disasters at home where there is less paperwork.

Glad to hear all is well Mal ( well sort of)
All of my injuries seem to happen at home & mainly on a sunday! I hate the emergencey ward, hours of waiting.

following a mishap at work today, I thought I would start a thread to see what injuries people have had at work

While pressuring a sandblast pot containing 3mm grit, the bayonet coupling (with safety pin)came apart and
blasted my right knee. Frightened the crap out of me but fortunately due to thick cotton overalls I got away with minor scratches and swelling. Tetunus needle hurt but the pain is being eased with beer!
