The biggest shock I had was seeing the retrofitted seatbelt mounts on the 1000 Wagon.
A damn $2 bolt through the B pillar..

Someone must have a 1000 parts manual to tell you if they are the same. Rear shocks would be different I expect.. like the 1200 ones.

ALL B10/B20 front shocks are dimentionally interchangeable, however, when they were available, the B20/Ute shocks had slightly firmer valving.

All passenger models [B10, VB10 & KB10] use the same shock.

OK, now that I have clicked the link I can see the problem.

The shocks in the auction may well be Koni adjustables with the fronts coming from an LC or LJ skinny-body Torana. These can be modified to fit OK but are really meant for a heavier car so setting the shock to the softest setting to start with is probably a good idea.

The 1200/120Y Coupe rear shock is a little longer than the B10/KB10 shock but can be used anyway, so perhaps the rears were originally for a KB110/210 model.

Those fronts don't fit a 1000
A 1000 has a ring at the top and a fixed pin at the bottom which is nothing like the ones pictured

So if your after this auction for front shocks you will be dissapointed

They aren't Torana shocks either
I have LC-LJ gas shocks on the front of my wagon with suitable mods to do so

Dattoman is spot on,the fronts are not early Torana/Vauxhall Viva as there's no ring on the top, which begs the question what are the rears? He clearly does'nt know so i'd walk away and head down to Pedders for some new ones instead.
I don't agree with Dodgy on firmness, they are clearly firmer than original, but then the stock Datsun B10 shocks(front)are about as firm as a 90 year old in need of a viagra dose.

I've always gone one step further and fitted the Pedders Red(sport)version to the front of mine.

I ran stock B20 shocks on the front of my B10 for many years & while they would never be classed as a 'performance' shock, they served quite well for my purposes & I would happily use them again if they were available.

Keep in mind, I used my car as a family hack & long distance cruiser, so harsh damping was not required.
