im 17 and an apprentice boilermaker working in a stainless and alloy fab shop. and heres my build with my old man
thought it was bout time i registered and uploaded my build
was unemployed and off my apprenticeship for a while
but im back working so :)


Ok , so i bought the ute a while ago for $1000 off a friend of a friend , "half repaired" , got it back to the shop had a closer look
absolutely everything and anything bogged haha
was terrible
quarters pulled off in my hands
rails 80% rusted out
looked in pretty bad shape but for a 1000 and it being complete bar a front windscreen, ran , has original owners reciept, log books , service history , toolkit and interior in pretty good condition it was well worth it :)
anyway heres some pics (how we bought it until now)

So we ripped all "repaired" panels off
have pics of dogdgey work (eg tailight section bumperettes filled flush with bog)
and bought new
both front gaurds , both tail light sections , both quarters , both sills and tailgate
Taiwanese so they required some work to fit

Plans for the car engine wise
Engine : sr20de (s13 silvertop) already bought , in another datsun waiting for bodywork to be finished then will swap engine over

hey champ . . good luck from all th boys here and myself it always good to see another dato come back to life. if u ever need any help or info im basicly down the rd mate if ur on central coast mate im down at morisset. and been into it for few yrs now mate good luck and get to it mate lol
