Hi - Was curious if anyone knew the biggest/best all weather tires I could put on my car - Datsun 1982 210, 2 door. It is 12''. I finally put in new shock absorber in my car since they were really worn out probably stock too. I tried to help all I could but had to stop early because we pulled the wrong piece and the whole left strut assembly in the front fell on my toe. Hehe... it was an exiting day though:)

To be honest, unless you are doing a total restoration on this car, I would not recomend using 12" wheels at all.

13" mags should not be too difficult to source & suitable tyres should be fairly readily available.
Actually I am quite surprised that your 210 [B310] uses 12" from new as even our anemic A12 powered B310 models came with 13" wheels as original equipment.

You need a tyre that approximates the same overall diameter as your originals & 185x60x13's measure about 552mm from memory & this is the same as an original 155R 12 while the 205x60x13 tyre measures about 575mm, the same as the 1200's original 600x12 cross ply tyre.

The lower profile radial will offer so much more in terms of driving safety & performance than the 12" tyre ever will. They look way cool too.

Agreed. The Canada A12A model had 12" wheels, but no other B310 in north america had tires that small.

175/70R-13 is the factory optional size.

Thank you for the advice I will look at those tires. I couldn't recall from memory exactly the rim size but it actually is a 13'' not 12''. I will definitely check those tires out though.
I am working on overall restoring the car since some things or maybe the majority are 27 years old. But anyways - thanks :)
