I agree about not whoring project/build threads cause they are for all to read and benefit from. Bumping was the issue originally, I dont see how bumping your own thread is that much of a drama it happens in the for sale section all the time, but yeah the Perth thread does not need to be bumped it bumps itself.

the point isnt about people being able to "socialise" its about threads being whored up! and its not just restricted to perth dudes' threads, it seems to happen to any thread one perth dude posts in, and it will snowball from there.
i occasionally have a read through the "perth" thread for a laugh, but when your trying to read about a project, and there is 10 pages of nothing to do with the project, it gets a bit tiresome.

really i think it would be a bit boring without all the smartasses kidding around, I get a good laugh from all the clowns, and just try keep it in their own threads. Me as the Dalai lama of datsuns took 6 years to get 5 stars because i refuse to post lame jokes.

Don't think this is so much about whoring geeze i am guilty of it but i also think there is so much we need to learn especially when doing a conversion/modification so starting threads and chatting about stuff there can get your post count up quick. This is more about getting off track and hogging the limelight (constant Perth threads on the main page, Yesterday i counted 10 in a row). Also making social arrangements in project build threads and classifieds etc should be done by PM's, texting, MSN or one of those sorts of things.
