Nick where was that 26usd price from ebay?
Also are you going with the same rod length and piston height as they are off the shelf items or going custom?

That is a good looking chamber. And only having the two valves, there is probably a whisker more squish than the 4 valve chamber? best thing with the dirty old hemi chambers is the absence of shrouding.

must be an engine builders industry secret thingy that bmw rods are the creme of the crop in engine hybrids. So you spooling out for the H beams? what pistons you going to run? Ive seen some bmw aftermarket forged pistons weighing round 400 grams somewhere, I think they where 27.5mm in comp height.
Nick forgot to answer the 8v head qs in your PM The 8v heads are all the same except early ones are not twin spark, camshaft grinds are different and early ones are solid lifters. The 8v looks like an early dodge hemi and late semi hemi twin plug hybrid.

It doesnt take much to notice the M20 rods. Just look at the I beam design with it modular lines it gorgeous. There arent many rods that look this sexy from factory. German car enthusiasts are reacing 500+hp on these babies. If you look at the M30 rods they arent far from the top dollar I-beam conrods offered by spool and other companies.
How is the Mitsu 6g rod related to the specs of a ca18 or a series? Do you have pics of them if they are and specs?

Been looking at conrod alternatives and it could seem we have one of the most beatiful rods I have ever seen from factory. 135mm m20 bmw conrods
The BMW M20 motor comes in various flavours:
* M20B20, 2.0 litre, 75mm stroke, 81mm bore,140mm rods * M20B25, 2.5 litre, 75mm stroke, 84mm bore,135mm rods * M20B27, 2.7 litre, 81mm stroke, 84mm bore, 130mm rods * Connecting rod dimensions for M20B25: o C-C length: 135mm o Big end bore: 48.0mm o Big end width: 21.8mm o Pin diameter: 22mm o Small end width: 21.8mm
Will suit a stroker 88mm ca20 crank or other L series engines.
