the extractors have been heat proofed before the wrapping went on, its mainly t try and keep the heat donw in the engine bay and thats it, there is plent of room for the moisture to leave. It all comes down to how tight you wrap them

i was talking tp the guy next door at the exhaust shop and he said that the heat wrap makes hodls the heat on the pipe without letting the pipe cool down ,and it then cracks and burns out ,aswell as rusting out cos if storing moisture too
ceramic coating seems to be the go but it cost my uncle %350 to get a set of pipes done on a his motor bike

Yeah engine bay looks sweet as mate had to go back a few pages and read up missed a fair bit of your progress. Nice dash should be a sweet little ride when done.

well i got some work done this past few days, i got to use my little welder and seems to work quite well. I have removed the gutter from the driverside and half way through removing the other side. I have done much needed grinding which has taken me most of the day as i hate it sooo much but the car is starting to look good. Also done a fair bit of panel beating on the rear of the car (old damage never fixed) and most of the passenger side. All i have to do is get more wire for my welder and finish of the passenger side and do the grinding on the drivers side. Will be back to working on it in a few weeks as i am mega busy next weekend
