I'm going through the process of getting my 4 link approved. I'm in Qld though so it probably doesn't help much.

I had the 4 link installed by a work shop but the engineers (one is signing of the design and the other is signing off the work) that I'm using have both requested changes. I have revised the mounts for the top arms, the tops of the coilovers, built new top arms and revised the lower arms. The main changes it had to do was to have the diff pinion angle altered to about 4.5 degs up and get the coilovers as vertical as possible.
I would do the complete 4-link differently if I was to do it again. Basically, I would use a kit and mount the coilovers behind the diff. The lower arms mount to the original front leaf spring mount but this has been opened up to allow for the new bush. Extra chassis x-members have been added between the chassis rails which allow for the top arms and coilovers to mount to.

How much clearance do you have between the lowest point of 4 link and the ground? Is it still legal? Where did you get the coilovers from?
