Whats the one on left out of Model ? 4 or 5 speed ? Pretty sure any L series, five speed speedo input will fit in that box and work. Even VL commodore and R31 speedos should work From memory my VL had manual/cable speedo drive not electric.

datsun is fixed where ca does have a C clip able to remove, pretty sure bluebird are the same as datsun

Couldnt you just swap them ( the shaft) over i see a collar/split pin or whatever there called in the main body which as you would know you have to squeeze a bit shut to remove and the shaft should drop out and then swap it over.

just looking at my maddat cable. that black cap comes off and threads onto the datsun end. I remember someone telling me bluebird gear. could be way off tho. Car looks great btw : )

little help fella's, ive asked about this back in my thread, ive purchased a MadDat speedo cable for my ca convo,
ive removed the electronic ca drive to replace for the analog drive, now is there a larger gear drive to suit the ca box (see pic for different size) with datsun drive the gear is fixed to the shaft & smaller where the ca is removable & larger, my Q is are the bigger gear available for datsun ? ![]() You can view topic.
