can anyone get me in touch with someone that can mod and balance
a stock ca18de pulley into a single setup no aircon or powersteering
eg.

Quote:
I have machined down a few of the crank pulleys but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone as i also scotch keyed the pulleys to stop them turning on the rubber and falling apart, but if you are after an after market one Ross Tuffbond Balancers do make up race pulleys for the CA

Scotch Keyed doesn't mean glue! if thats what you meant?

I was cutting the Exa twin pulley yesterday and its alot of work
with the hacksaw! I ran out of steam got the angle grinder out
on the vice and still had trouble cutting it. Then the main
pulley came off and left it wobbling trapped between the 2 fronts.
Will be able to use a v pulley over the main balancer structure
by brazing it on and re-balancing the final assembly.

+1 for the ross balancer, got the single pully version on my ca18 1200 setup. Really helps when mounting radiator/cooler behind grill.
Will be starting a build thread soon, will get some pictures up

Did it cost you over 500aud? for that price I prefer to play make my own
and spend the 600 aud on forged pistons. If it was 150aud then diff story.
