revhead ,
Not sure on the band of the lean/rich gauge. It has good responses. I paid $40 for it and it works with a standard oxygen sensor. The kitchen is not all out yet. I have more swinging to do. Dave, that explains why my car is idling rich. I just want to see what it shows boosting at full throttle.

I drove the car yesterday and the gauge showed on the rich side for the air/fuel mixture. It stayed pretty much that way during boost and normal driving. The spark plugs have the right light tan color look when I pulled them so im not going to change anything. I know before when I was working with the carbs, I got better throttle response when I worked with bigger jets. I can't believe this car runs two 32/36 Webers with 190 jets in the primarys and 160 jets in the secondarys.
Its not your economy car anymore.

Drags, Super Figure 8's, Super Stock, Mini Stock, Northwest Legions, Hornets, Train Cars, School Buses Figure 8's, Boat Races, Camper Races, Jumping Stunts, Monster Trucks and even Motocross. Well.............
I'm starting over again. The Z24 is coming out. Its fast but i want to go faster. Im heading south to Tacoma tomorrow to pick up a KA24DE. A full rebuild. I will be dumping its fuel injection and will go with my twin Weber and Supercharger. Nitrous as well. I can get performance parts for the KA. I could not get anything for the Z motor. It was fun to build but i feel like the Z24 was a waste of time. Dont get me wrong, its fast but i want this car to go faster.
