Another photo of the supercharger crank pulley.
Today another task completed. Wrapped transmission tunnel with fire hose for a make shift scatter shield. The stuff is very durable. I used sprayed adhesive to put it down but will add bolts and fender washers in key areas. Kind of looks like a broken bone cast. Painted it in a good thick coat of flat black. I think it turned out good. Might finish up the wiring and put the gauge cluster in tonight. Progress. ![]()

A lot of items on the table to complete.
1. Install new gauge cluster 2. Install transbrake in Powerglide transmission 3. Finish up electrical wiring 4. Brake lines 5. Install motor and transmission 6. Exhaust pipe reroute around transmission And a few other items. Continuing the project. Yesterday I finished up the header. I decided instead of having a larger breather on the valve cover to vent the crank case of pressure, I went with modifying the header and adding a one way breather valve. I think this will be more effective. I have some kitchen cabinets to build so Im taking a break today. ![]()

Built this blow off valve yesterday. I had had back fire problems when I was testing jets on the carbs. I've had the output port of the SC blow the 1/2 inch aluminum plate twice and warp it. This should solve the problem.
Wasn't on the list of stuff to do but needed to get done. Going to try and mount the Hurst shifter today. Need to do that before the tranny goes in.

Finally put the new gauge cluster in. Very busy but turned out good.
Well the back seat is now out for good. No one has sat back there since my kids were little. Its almost now impossible to get back there with the roll bar. So its out. Took out 25 pounds of Seats and belts and put in 2 pounds of aluminum sheet. The trade off was worth it. Next is working on the Transmission and putting the engine back in. I'm close. ![]()

Worked on the transmission and trans brake yesterday. Took it over to a friends shop with a parts washer. I gave up mine when I moved to a smaller garage.
The TCI trans brake valve body had a broken spring so I had to order it. Dead in the water now with work so decided to install some Amber LED ground effects lights on the bottom of the car and in the wheel wells. Feel like I'm 16 again.

Transmission complete and engine and tranny back in car.
I started my fuel cell project so not finished. Gas tank and fuel lines are out so the car is going no where. Probably another couple of weeks with shuffling house work stuff. You can view topic.
