Yesterday's race turned out pretty good. 5 passes with my fastest time of 6.120.
I finally figured out my car. To much timing. Instead of 6° retarded from 25° advanced on nitrous, I went with 11°. That is the sweet spot. .30 on the spark plug gap and upped both primary fuel jets from 160 to 170. Secondarys are at 220. Next race upping gap to .32 and raising the primary's to 180.
Next race is June 3rd.
Looks like Sunday June 5th is Import Days at Pacific Raceways. Going to give the SuperBee a shot at the 1/4 mile.

Here's the race on YouTube for that time slip.

I seem to be keeping up with the V8's

Congrats. That indicates about 400 HP? If your car weighs 1900 lbs

Just ordered some new seat harnesses and a drive shaft loop. I'm trying to avoid getting kick off the track next Sunday at Pacific Race Ways in Kent, WA. My friend who runs similar times in his Mustang in the 1/8 was in Yakima, WA racing the quarter and said he was running 10.90's. That's more than enough to get kick off the track for violations. My harnesses are well out of date and a driveline loop is going to be required as well. I only have 4 point role cage so that is the last stipulation. I my only get one run in before they tell me to go home. Looks like my next project will be a 6 point cage.

Made it to Pacific Race Ways this weekend. Did 7 passes and had my fastest time at 11.789 @ 110 mph. Lost the race because I broke out on my Bracket Time. Didn't really care.

10 psi boost with a 175hp shot of progressive nitrous 80-100% over 1.5 seconds.

1/4 Mile race Video

I have been having inconsistent fuel pressures with my Mallory 110 pump. I believe its on its last leg. I was constantly having to adjust my fuel regulator. Also my guess is that the Webers are insufficient at the top end. I don't think I'm getting enough flow 3/4 of the way down the track.

Maybe looking into a 750cfm carb for next year and a taller stall converter. The 3000rpm is just not getting me up into the power band. A 4500rpm would be better.

It was still fun but for now my car is better suited for the short 1/8th mile.

wow that is beyond supercar territory. Factory supercars only run 12-second 1/4 miles. Not bad for a street-legal sedan

The gearing seems off, with that HP it should reach a slightly higher speed

The Weber 32/36 is only 270 CFM and if you have two of them it's still only 270 CFM -- unless they are on a common plenum. Maybe your plenum needs to be larger?

estimates
A 4-bbl on 2.4 liter @ 6000 RPM + 10 lb boost need 428 4-BBL CFM
A 2-bbl on 2.4 liter @ 6000 RPM + 10 lb boost need 605 2-BBL CFM

Thanks Dave. I thought the 32/36 was 292 cfm. My intake runs both carbs into the supercharger. My shift light @ 7200 rpms came on just before the finish line. I expected to hit the finish line at 7800 rpms doing 120 mph.
I need to find a more compact American 4 barrel. Something that I can fit under the hood.

So with the fuel pump issue, I ordered a Mallory 140 pump. Should be here today. Also put in an order for a 4500 stall converter. Mike at Cascade Torque Converters said he'd be happy to build me one. And lastly, I just ordered (2) Weber 38/38 downdrafts. Replacing the 32/36's. Hoping to get more air/fuel flow. This should improve my track times.
