Re-plumbing my Nitrous so this is my bracket that is not quite finished. Nitrous, Purge and Fuel solenoids. The Purge is new for this year. Finally got around to putting one in. A few more cuts to the aluminum plate and I'll fasten it down. Couple more AN fittings on order so waiting for those to come in.
After that I can reinstall the supercharger and carbs. Getting close. Attach file: IMG_20170210_204340.jpg (185.93 KB)![]()

Busy Trunk.
Got around to working on the fuel system in the trunk. Mallory 140 using 92 Octane for the car and a Mallory 110 using VP110 race fuel while spraying nitrous. Not quite finished. Had to order some more AN fitting. Slowly but surely going to get this car back on the road. Don't plan on hauling anything Dave
It's just a waiting game now. These AN fuel and nitrous fittings I ordered should show up Thursday or Friday. I ordered a second Holley fuel pressure gauge for the wet nitrous so I need to find a place for that along with the nitrous purge button. This is a complicated race car. Everyone says I have to many gauges. They all serve a purpose and I look at all of them. ![]() And so the build continues.

Careful with the gauges Datsa. You'll be heading toward spaceship level complexity if you're not careful!

You think so?
I'm going to move the up right Nitrous Bottle warmer switch and put the Nitrous fuel pressure gauge there which will be above the Nitrous Bottle Pressure. I'll move the bottle warmer switch down to between the seats. Another project. Attach file: IMG_20170215_210101.jpg (34.98 KB)![]() IMG_20170215_210256.jpg (27.06 KB)![]()

More gauges than gears in a f&f movie, holy cow!
I like the idea of moving the switch to between the seats, then you can easily reach it when you're strapped in and your Nos gauges will be grouped. But what about those clear coloured plastic switches (blue, red, green) off to the right? If they are part of start-up you could group all the boot-up switches to between the seats, or better yet on the ceiling like a plane?

Hole is already drilled.
So gauges starting from left. 1. Air/Fuel ratio 2. Fuel tank level 3. Fuel pressure 4. Transmission temp 5. Speedometer 6. Boost pressure 7. Engine temp 8. Voltmeter 9. Oil pressure 10. Nitrous fuel pressure (new) 11. Nitrous Bottle Pressure 12. Tachometer on dash 13. Shift Light. The switches below the stereo are: Blue - Nitrous On and ready Red - Transbrake on and ready Green - LineLock on and ready Yellow - Flog lights Clear - Dome and kick panel lights Black - Ground running lights. Transbrake button is on the stearing wheel, the nitrous is on the throttle and the Linelock button is between the seats. There you go. ![]()

Oh whatever happened to the k.i.s.s. theory? Keep it simple stupid! But I guess that's just too boring. Keep up the build ey, might make it to mars

I love the dash and the nitrous switch should maybe be like in the movies or james bond!
