faster than the 510 datto by 0.07 seconds!!
also you beat the Honda which surprisingly had a good start but you had higher trap speed?! Some lexus/Crowns/mk2 had 1zj-fe which some prefer due to very revvy natures can hit 10k rpm with right internals. I know today the 2jz is king of the imports but the vg30 is a very underrated engine that can match the Jz series. From factory the vg30 is re-known for 800hp stock internals for NA the now getting old VQ V6 owned by Sascha Anis built by JWT makes 537 hp 8200rpm / 410 lb-ft most powerful NA VQ in the world. Designed for road racing has usable 350 lb-ft at just 3,500 rpm. https://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tech ... an-vq-series-engine-ever/ At the end of the day, carb fed supercharged KA2.4L is so crazy for its an analog route many will not tinker with in favor of high tech ecus.

Parts have been back from the balance shop for about a week but I've been busy working on jetskis and Snowmobiles. 🙂
Better get back to the car. I painted the block black again. I debated yellow. If anyone thinks I should paint it yellow, put in your 2 cents. Crower Stage 3 came and valve just waiting to be installed. 👍

Although by now the motor would be in and running but since the season does not start for another month, I've been off doing other things. I manage to put the head on, set the timing and install the timing covers today. I'll be back at it next week. I have to work this weekend.

Motor ready to go in.
New Look!!! Had to wait a week for Chris to powder coat the valve cover. Not going to make the first race next week but no big deal. Season opener is just one crazy day. 🙂

New motor bolted to the Powerglide.
I spent a little time yesterday sanding the letters on the valve cover. Used a sanding block and started with 80 grit and worked my way up to 1500 wet sanding at 800 and up. Looks much better now. I'll put everything else in today. If I have time, I'll fire it up. May run a few passes before swapping the 430 gears with the 411 just to get an idea on the new motors performance. Race season. Is just around the corner. 👍

Yellow for show.
Ingenuity for go. Had the car out for a easy drive a couple of days ago. At work now. Need to pick up for fuel this weekend. Car ran strong and pulls. Will run it harder next week.

Hows is the rear and overall balance of the suspension?
will you be needing tubs for the rear or the car sitting as it is does the job? Really would like to see your car in a motoring magazine for the japanese and ever speedhunters. on another note do you know the rod length on these motors? You can view topic.
