wow 11 seconds. From a KA24DE truck motor. Good on ya!

Been out a few times this year. Been racing for Team Mopar although there's some Chevy and Ford in this car. No Mopar..... just the sticker. 🙂

Import Face Off is my favorite.👍
Took second place in the 11.50 Index class. No trophy, just a purse payout. 🙂
Won It last year but a guy in a 10 sec VW Bug decided to sandbag me and take the trophy.
I roll Balls Out!!!

Well the racing off season has been really easy this year. No engine rebuild for the Datsun. Of course there has been multi rebuilds, just not the car.
Car ran great last year. In the end I just needed more fuel on the nitrous. 👍
Season will start late March and an oil change is all that is needed.
Plan on giving it more juice. I need to break into the 10's. 🙂

Peaks around 7k and that where I shift and when I hit the 1/4 mile. Sticking with the 4.11's.
Not much racing this year but was able to make it out to Import Face Off in Kent, WA. Car runs a 11.50 consistently. Luckily they had a 11.50 index class.
I'm in!!!
Took 1st Place. That was a no brainer. 🙂
Opportunities for some more races in September and early October so we'll see.

Are you hitting the peak RPM at the finish line? Maybe the HP peaks at a slightly lower RPM

Been at the track twice so far this year. Car has been running great but my times are still not improved. 4.11 gears with 26 inch tires. I have decided to not quite go back to the 4.30 gears. I use to run the 1/8th mile with the 4.30's and 23 inch tire so im going to try the 23's with the 4.11's.
The 23's have a wider tread anyways which should help if i plan to bump up the nitrous a bit. 👍

Been on vacation for the past 3 weeks.
I am very disappointed with the 4.11 gears.
60 foot times were very similar but top end speeds were the same at 118 mph.
Actual times where slower running 11.70 compared to the 11.40 with the 4.30 gears.
Talked with a friend who said to put the 4.30 gears back in and make the motor work. 👍

New rearend gears are in.
Swapped out the 4.30s for 4.11s. Dropped 800 rpms at 60mph in drive. Will see results this coming Saturday at the track. 👍
