Raced Renegade Raceways last Sunday the 5th.
Was a bit disappointed with the track prep or lack of. No Track Bite was applied in the 60 foot so it was like racing on the streets. Spun the tires on my first run so I backed off the nitrous. Spun the tires on the second run so I again back of the nitrous almost completely and also added a delay so I could get the car moving first. Spun the tires on the third run as well. First two runs were trials for time so without a good pass I was going into bracketing blindly. Lost on the third run. No test and tune that day so I loaded the car and headed home. 6 hour drive for three passes. 😃 Time to pull the rear gears and pick up speed on the top end. 👍

Thanks.
Going conservative this year. Spent to much money on a brand new motor. Will try and run it again this weekend and then change out rear gears. The car was pushing hard to gain speed towards the finish line. Going from 4.30 to 4.11.👍

Thats fast !!!
I'd wish I'd made copies of my 1/4mile time slips as all the print faded off them over time dp

Saturdays race at Pacific was a success.
5 passes on the new motor with no problems. Best time was a 11.38 at 118 mph. Set the ignition timing at 26° BTDC and retarded 9° from that when on a 100 shot of nitrous. I was the only import in the PRO class racing against american muscle. Lost in the third round to a 60's Chevy Nova wagon. Best pass of the day was a dual perfect reaction time. I have had perfect times in the past but never seen both. Im number 158 on the time slip. Attach file: 20200627_125211_copy_477x1008.jpg (145.57 KB)![]()

Racing season has been on since late May. Ive been relaxing and not doing anything but enjoying time off from everything. But the time has come.
Ill be out hopefully Saturday at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington for a little test and tune. New motor so going light on the nitrous. We'll see if i can pull in the 10's. 👍

Racing season is currently on hold due to COVID-19. A couple of races already cancelled and probably more to come. In the meantime there is still snow on the ground so heading to the mountains for some Pow Pow. 🙂

1.71 rod stroke ratio is very safe
and great for durability

Rod length is 6.496 inches.
No change to rear diff. Currently have my own built traction system similar to Caltracs With a nitrous regulator, MicroStorm I can put down 50% and ramp up to 100% over my 60 foot. Tires stick and never spin. 👍

Hows is the rear and overall balance of the suspension?
will you be needing tubs for the rear or the car sitting as it is does the job? Really would like to see your car in a motoring magazine for the japanese and ever speedhunters. on another note do you know the rod length on these motors?

Yellow for show.
Ingenuity for go. Had the car out for a easy drive a couple of days ago. At work now. Need to pick up for fuel this weekend. Car ran strong and pulls. Will run it harder next week. You can view topic.
