Are your rods worked by any chance?
3 gsm is a fair bit out on the last one otherwise.

Looking at a14/5 rods they seem to be a good option if worked for an NA CA18de.
Rod comparisons....
best stocky rods are e15et but too long at 136.64mm c-c

The only thing done to my rods is having the ARP bolts installed and the rods re-sized. I'm trying to figure out how to build a jig that will allow me to do measurements of the weights of each end of the rods in a repeatable manner so that I can lighten the heavy ones to match the light one.

I find it kind of funny that the 4 rods I have has one that is lighter than the other 3, and the new set of 79mm pistons purchased from B-Projects has one piston that is a couple of grams lighter than the other 3. Go figure...
