That support bracket went missing on our 3 day install of the L lol.

that bar is to hold fan in place, the outs step around shroud. Was easier to hacksaw than angle grind at 11pm the night I made it. Just not nearer

Battery tray is handy place to store a beer

Need to chop it out when I get better at angle grinding

Well all in too late to start car and burn the system
Top hose is mix of two but bottom one is a slightly trimmed and twisted 6cyl Ford econovan or something. Perfect almost fit. Shouldn't collapse

But 2 drama
1- dropped the socket wrench off rad support and it Jammed between core and block. Stupidly I went to grab It and Jammed it worse, denting two fins. Hope no leaks under pressure.

2- had to space grill off the mounts as pushed the fan blades onto some part of rad when turned it on to test fan. I tested fan clearance at every stage to make sure of these issues.

Sikyne cut the old pipes off and put new ones in with trumpets. The longer runners are radiused and the short hoses make it stiff so no need for bracing. The turned lips also mean chances if hoses piping off are almost non existent.

Looks cool. You should spend a day tidying up all the wiring and getting it all in some nice insulation. Would smarten it up and reduce ya dramas trust me it made a big difference in me ute.

Well not huge updates but getting stuck fixed as they pop up. Fixed leaky hose. Used a newer bottom hose up top and smeared a little silicon on the water outlet.and a better hose clamp. No more leak along edge of rocker cover and onto got extractors. Mmmmmm burnt coolant Smell.

Also that rattle got worse it disappeared for a wile after putting button clutch in and came back ffs.
Well I thought no spare box or clutch what bad timing. Then heard the rattle. Thought let's see its not some thing else.

Well pushed down in alt to look deep in bay lightly. Noise disappears. repeated 3 time same result. Not alt. Tried 3 thinking it was dodge bearings in all my spares. But was the piggy made mount. Finally broke after all this time.

The weld snapped through made heaps if noise. He said same happened to him a few times lol.

see the hair line crack in welds.

So I cracked open the mig (gotta love that even though need to practice more_ a lot more ) and plated it top and bottom with spot Welland attempted beads. Poor attempt.

Hope it holds for a little while

My longer term plan is to use the stock alt. Bracket and bolt it to some 6 or 8mm plate and then bolt that to the AC compressor mounts.

Alt on L is usually on drivers side bottom. Mine hit the battery test and chassis rail. So piggy have me his home made bracket.

Need to flip the stick price up side down to work. The red coloreds in bits are to be ground out so alt can.pivot on the mount like stock.

Comments on idea? at least I drew template of the base plate mounting points for future use.

If I had the other type if Mount that's hollow in middle could tad a better Bosch unit from Ivan.
