Ben, i think you have #OOPS#ed the booster by not nunning a check valve, the valve holds vacume when your engine is at high revs, and also stops boost pressure entering the booster. By not running one the boost pressure has eather popped your diaphragm or the seal has slipped.
Bring it up one day and i'll see what it is.

can be fixed
hissing coming from pedal side
hissing is vacume leaking in the booster when u apply brakes
booster vents into cabin not engine bay
try your local parts supplyer they should be able to get it rebuilt

can they be fixed? if so how much you reckon?

so the rod that connects to my pedal its #OOPS#'d on that side or the master cyclinder side?

the hisss you can hear is a SSHHH sounds when u pump the pedal

i dont have a vac check valve... could that be the problem?

yeh when i pump it i can hear a hissssss.. but we didnt find were it wsa comming from.. check the hose an that..

yep pedal is hard 24/7

u can open them up( not suggested )

the booster i got on my car is a maddat one, the hose has vaccum what connects to the booster,

but i got a hard pedal all the time... even when the car is started..

what could it be? #OOPS#ty booster? can u open them up?
