I`m now running more frequently with my b210 with A14 auto transmission, and i noticed that there`s a switch connected to the accelerator pedal that when i push all the way, the car seams to rev more but it has no actual speed influence.
Can someone tell me what is this?? with the car stoped and if i push that button the sound seams to come from the transmission.

Maybe an electronic kick down?

I remember reading something about that somewhere...

Automatically drops you back a gear for goin up hills overtaking etc

But I dont know for sure

Are you sure you're not looking at the adjustable rubber stop on the accelerator pedal? There are two, one at bottom and one towards the top.

Japan-market B210s don't have an electrical switch on the pedal. Neither do north american B210s.

Sounds like a kickdown switch for the Auto, drops the box down a gear so its got more balls going up a hill... or under heavy acceleration

Yes it's a kickdown switch. Or you can pretend it's a shot of 2hp nos
I did when I had my 210 auto

uhmm is it a good thing or a bad thing? I can`t see any advantage of drop one gear down when we are going fast. Or is just when we are under a certain speed?

B210 doesn't use an electric kickdown switch.

Can you post a photo of it?
