I found in the past the quad carbs prefer long runners for street engines.
For bikes revving over 12,000rpm is a different story.
Especially since A10 engines lack so much torque down low the longer the
runners the better for a 59mm stroked road going engine.
I have a design I made in case I did it again for a 1000 which clears the
bonnet, gives heaps more torque and look beaut with a personally engraved
plenum with perspex top exposing the shiny trumpets or velo stacks.
The oil filler will need to be moved to the front on the rocker cover and
it will still clear the dizzie using double L or right angled tipped leads.
Rocker cover and top section is welded together as carbs unbolt easily and
will allow tappet adjustment being removable from lower inlet halve.
The idea is from another 1200 member in the past that turboed the same kind
of manifold on an a12 round port and made 100+hp at wheels and had heaps
of tractable torque and less lag.

Hi jarrydsNIZ12

Try one of this : Works as an Extra Air Supply also Ralenti is Great ( rubber pipe on right goes to engine breath hole near the clutch .
( I took the idea from 2 stroke Yamaha DT 50cc Carby that has a pipe going to a plastic box under the gas tank ).
