normal 4 cylinder cometic price is about $80 give or take....$230 plus shipping seems like the prices they are in oz

I could have spent $250 on a head gasket but i had to draw the line somewhere. At the moment i think the pistons and the $18 head gasket are on par for robustness. It would be a whole different proposition with a good set of pistons and head gasket.
At the moment im actually more worried about the pistons. Time will tell.

Sorry Pigdog, i missed your post. I looked at the Cometic website and they didnt list one for the "A". The price i was quoting was for diferent brand, Still a multi layer steel one tho.

Yes Mildman, All the original specs are still the same. Ive added head studs tho.
